In an old salon-style apartment in the heart of Belgrade, KAI Architecture has merged the classical aesthetic elements of the early twentieth century with contemporary materials and forms. High ceilings and open, bright rooms, a spacious entrance hall leading into the living area, and a generous dining room with a marble table for ten form the backbone of the space, while rich stucco decoration, French herringbone parquet and decorative lighting layer the atmosphere. A combination of warm natural materials with contemporary design pieces introduces a dynamic interplay of textures into a neutral-toned interior. Artefacto supplied furniture and lighting, with the DUO sofa as a standout piece.<\/p>\n
